                     MRS. BLANCHE WILLIAMS
                          Former City Resident

            Mrs. BLANCHE WILLIAMS, 55, wife of ISAAC JAMES
        WILLIAMS, died Tuesday at her home 455 Washington st.,
        Media, after a short illness. A native of Chester, she had
        lived in Media for 34 years. She formerly was a member of
        St. Paul's AUMP Church here.
            Besides her husband, a retired state highway department
        employee, she leaves four daughters and three sons, Mrs.
        HILDA SEENEY, FLORENCE, BLANCHE, MILDRED,
        MARCUS, WALTER and RALPH WILLIAMS. WALTER
        is in the army, stationed at Fort Meade. There are also
        five grandchildren.
            Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday from the
        Mary F. Parker funeral home, 204 E. 10th st., with burial
        in EDEN Cemetery, Collingdale. Friends may call Friday
        evening 7 to 9.
