                               FUNERAL OF J. R. WOOD
                         WELL-KNOWN MEDIA ENGINEER, LAID AT
                              REST SUNDAY AFTERNOON
 
                                10 November 1909
 
          The funeral of JOHN R. WOOD, who died at his home at the Media
      Water plant, after a brief illness Wednesday morning; took place 
      yesterday afternoon. It was largely attended. Members of N. A. S. E.
      No. 2 of Chester and Media Lodge No. 86, K. of P. were present, 
      REV. WILLIAM E. STAUB, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiated.
      Interment was at the UNION METHODIST EPISCOPAL CEMETERY,
      Hinkson's Corner.
          The pallbearers were EDWARD MINTON, SHEBRICK BISHOP, 
      THOMAS CUSTER, JOSEPH PAYNE, JAMES D. ROSTRON and
      PATRICK AHERN.
