MENTOR YARNALL 1923 Multiple, listed in text FRIDAY, MARCH 16, 1923 HIGHLY RESPECTED CITIZEN PASSES AWAY . SARAH P. YARNALL DIES SUDDENLY MONDAY EVENING MRS. SARAH P. YARNALL, 57 years of age, the wife of MENTOR YARNALL, died at her home at 321 W. Front street, on Monday night of acute pneumonia. She had been on a visit to her brother, JOHN TAYLOR of Chester, and complained of chills and was removed to her home, where she expired about midnight. The funeral service will be held from her late residence on Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will be made in MEDIA CEMETERY. The Sons and Daughters of Liberty, the Shepherds of Bethlehem, and the P. O. of A., of which she was a member, will hold services this (Friday) evening. She was the recording secretary of the Sons and Daughters of Liberty for twenty- five years and also held offices in the Shepherds of Bethlehem and P. O. of A. orders. MRS. YARNALL had a winning personality which made her beloved by her many friends, among whom is MISS MARY McDERMOTT, who has lived with her for thirty years. ********** FUNERAL MRS. SARAH YARNALL 23 JULY 1923 The body of SARAH E. YARNALL, wife of MENTOR YARNALL, of West Front street was interred, in the MEDIA CEMETERY, (unclear text) of the First Baptist Church, of which the deceased was a member, officiated at the services which were held from her late residence. MISS MARGARET BOOTH sang, "God Be With Us 'Till We Meet Again," and "Abide With Me." The various lodges of which MRS YARNALL was a member held their services last Friday evening, HAROLD CAMPBELL and MISS JENNIE GOLDIE officiated for the Sons and Daughters of Liberty, Council N. 53, of Media. MRS. HOWARD ROHRER and MRS. ABBIE MILLER for the Star of Media Lodge, Shepherds of Bethlehem. MRS. WILLIAM HEACOCK and MRS. JOSEPH HALL for Camp 220, Patriotic Order of American.
