                       RECORDER YOUNG'S MOTHER DEAD
 
        Recorder Thomas D. YOUNG has been bereaved by the death of his
    mother, Mrs. CATHARINE YOUNG, who died last night at the home of
    her daughter, at Strafford, Chester County. Deceased was 81 years of 
    age. She had been ill for a year with a stroke that partly affected her
    throat.
 
        Mrs. YOUNG leaves a husband who is 82 years of age, and six 
    children who besides Dr. THOMAS YOUNG, EDWARD YOUNG, 
    Mrs. ADELIA THOMPSON, Mrs. JOSEPHINE TIPPING, Mrs. SALLIE
    LODGE, and Mrs. KATE LEWIS.
 
        The funeral will occur on Sunday at 1 o'clock.
 
 
Note: Interment at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery, Ardmore, 
        Montgomery County, PA
