Seeley Sept 2004 Photo can be seen at: http://www.usgwarchives.net/delaware/photos/places/llanarch1934.jpg File size: 216K Llanerch Hills Baptist Church, Upper Darby, in 1934.  The church Sunday school first meeting was May 12, 1929 in a vacant store at Township Line and Harding Ave in Upper Darby, Pa. It was called The Community Baptist Church Of Llanerch Hills in 1929, then changed in 1931 to Llanerch Hills Baptist Church, and changed in 1939 to Llanerch Hills Chapel. Meetings were held at " Casa Loma' from 1931 until 1939 on Township Line in Upper Darby, Pa.. The church moved from Township Line to a basement church in 1939 at the present location of Manor and Myrtlewood Aves in Upper Darby, Pa. The sanctuary was built above the basement in 1948. In 1963 the education building was dedicated including Blair Hall, name after the first pastor, John H. Blair. John H. Blair was pastor from May 1929 until June of 1963.
