INTO THE SILENT LAND.

The reaper Death has been busy during the year, his dread shaft striking many a 
shining mark, and many a Chester household misses the cheery voice and smiling 
face of a loved one that gathered in the family circle a year ago whose owner is 
now numbered with the dead. Among the more prominent of those who died during 
the past twelve months are the following, with the date of demise and age:
