Every day one or more funeral corteges were seen slowly wending their way to the great Republics of the Dead, on Edgemont avenue, in North Chester, and the number of newly made graves tell of desolation in the home circle. A noticeabl feature has been the large number of aged persons who during the year have gone to that bourne from whence no weary traveler returns, while many a little boy or girl has joined the great host of the redemed during the same period of time. It is noticeable that a large number of the aged people who died during the past twelve months are women.
