Delaware Co Wills, 1789-1834


EDWARDS, WILLIAM, Nether Providence.
July 1, 1801 - August 6, 1801.
Son Jacob to have tract bought of James WOOD and wife, lot in Chester, 
also share with Seth THOMAS bought from John CHALLIS and wife. Home 
tract to son James for life then mentions William GRAHAM of Chester and 
his heirs, but says that he devises the land to the child or children 
of son James. Jacob to inherit in case James dies without issue. 
Legacies to three daughters Margaret EDWARDS, Prudence THOMAS, wife of 
Seth THOMAS, and Sarah BARTON. Also land in Providence near Fells on 
the saw mill lane between home tract and Edward TILGHMAN to sd. sons, 
grandson William son of son William EDWARDS, December'd. Exrs: Sons 
James and Jacob EDWARDS. Wits: Edward TILGHMAN and Parke SHEE. #186.
