February 13, 1789 - November 29, 1789. Gives to wife (Rebeccah) lot 8 1/2 acres 10 perches of land where his son John formerly lived, during her natural life. Daughter Rebacah to live with mother and if unmarried to have the lot after the mother's decease, if she marries, lot to be sold by executors. Gives to wife certain household furniture and the rest to daughter Rebacah, gives to son John FAWKES five shillings and to have no more of estate, 100 acres where his son John lives in Newtown, Chester County adjoining estates of Thomas WILLING, David LEWIS, David MORRIS and the David MORRIS road, the line to be as many perches on Morris Road as on David ALEXANDER'S line, this land to remain in name of executors for the bringing up of John's children born of the body of his wife Sarah LANE until the youngest child arrive at the age of 14. Executors to put on interest for support of son Thomas during life £250. After death of wife and son Thomas £20 to granddaughter Elise and daughter Sarah to have £20 less. Wife and daughter Rebacah to be executrix and son in law Caleb MORIS and Joseph WOOD to be executors. Codicil February 15, 1789, son Richard FAWKES to assist the executors and to be paid for trouble.
