Gazette J.B. GEITNER PASSED AWAY AT WARREN, PA﷯﷯   Aged Local Resident Died at Home of Son in Warren, PA.  Funeral at the St. Marys Church Wednesday at 9 o'clock.﷯﷯ ﷯﷯John B. Geitner, aged 88, of 622 Washington Street, passed away Sat afternoon at 1:30 at the home of his son, William, 108 Walnut St, Warren, PA, where he had been visiting the last four weeks.  Death was attributed to infirmities of old age.﷯﷯ ﷯﷯The deceased who was well-known in this vicinity at one time had been in the lumbering business and later did farming.  He had been living on Washington Street for the past eleven years.  He was born December 23, 1846 in this city.﷯﷯ Mr. Geitner was the son of M/M George Geitner, both deceased and was the oldest of seven children whom all have preceded him to the grave.﷯﷯ He is survived by his wife, nee Miss Bertha Wendel, who he married October 19, 1870 in the St. Marys Church.﷯﷯ Five daughters: Elizabeth-Mrs. William Nist of Johnsonburg; Regiona-Mrs. William Stout of Emporium; Theresia-Mrs. Frank Schwabenbauer and Anna-Mrs Charles Pfingstler, of St Marys; Lena-Mrs John Klaiber of Ridgway and FOUR SONS:  William of Warren, John of St. Marys; Andrew of Silver Creek, NY and Albert of Cascade Locks, Oregon, also surviving as do 38 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 4 greatgreat grandchildren.  One daughter Sarah, and a son, Edward preceded their father to the grave.﷯﷯ Interment will be made in the St. Marys cemetery.
