McCracken George B. McCracken, 79, of 46 Buchannan Hollow, died at 1 p.m. Sunday in the Bradford Hospital where he had been a patient since Sept. 20. He was born May 30, 1893 in Cibula [sic: Sabula], a son of Ross and Emily Dixon McCracken. He married the former Dorothy Smith in Tyler on Dec. 24, 1912. Mr. McCracken was employed as a pumper for the South Penn Oil Co. before his retirement in 1968. He was a member of the First Free Methodist Church. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Mildred Benson of Bradford; a son, Paul McCracken of Bradford; 21 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call after 7 p.m. today at the Hollenbeck Funeral Chapel. Funeral arrangements will be announced. Bradford (PA) Era, Tues, Oct. 17, 1972 GEORGE B. MCCRACKEN George B.
