Exerpted from The Daily Press Jul 29, 1936
Jane Portzer, 20, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry A. Portzer of 201 Monroe 
Avenue, Ridgway, died at the Ridgway Hospital at 12:45 PM yesterday. She was 
born in Medix Run, Pennsylvania and lived in Ridgway since 1919. She is 
survived by her father and mother, three brothers, Lloyd, Gerald and Thomas 
all at home. Funeral was held held from St. Leo's Church, Thursday morning at 
nine o'clock. Burial St. Leo's Cemetery.

Additional Comments:
Martha Jane was always called Jane. She was a bubbly girl. She died of a 
streph infection now easily curable be antibotics.
