Muster Roll
James Brown, Co. L, 3rd Artillery enrolled Feb. 24, 1864 at Waterford, Pa. and 
was mustered in the same day as Private.  He was aged 41 at enrollment, with a 
light complexion, stood 5' 4.75" tall, blue eyes, brown hair and was a miller by 
occupation, residing in Erie County, Pa.  He was a native of Scotland.  He 
mustered out Nov. 9, 1865.

Additional Comments:
the unit was recruited in Chester, Dauphin and Lycoming Cos.
