  "Hess-December 28, 1921, Conrad HESS in his 80th year.  Friends may call at 
  the family residence, No. 2126 Parade St., until Saturday noon.  Privated 
  funeral services for relatives will be held Saturday afternoon at 3:30

  Conrad [Konrad] HESS, Sr. was the son of Gabriel Konrad HESS, of Annweiler, 
  Rhine Phalz, Bayern, Germany, and of his wife, Franziska Bader.  He was born 
  January 10, 1842, in Annweiler, Rhine Phalz, Bayern, Germany, emigrated to 
  America in 1866, and died on December 28, 1921, in Erie, Erie County, 
  Pennsylvania.  He was the husband of Elizabetha SCHALLANG, born December 11, 
  1845, in Annweiler, Rhine Phalz, Bayern, Germany; she died April 29, 1938, at 
  age 92 years, at 2126 Parade Street, Erie, Erie County, Pennsylvania, USA.  
  Elisabetha SCHALLANG HESS was the daughter of Johannes 'John' SCHALLANG, 1815- 
  and his wife, Catherine TWIG, 1819- both of Annweiler, Rhine Phalz, Bayern,
