We encourage links to the state and county table of contents. ____________________________________________________________ This Indenture made this twenty third day of September one thousand eight hundred and fifty two between Bonaparte Harden and Jemima his wife of the County of Fayette and the state of Pennsylvania of the one part and Ashbel Fairchild of the County and State aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that the said Bonaparte Harden and Jemima his wife, for and in consideration of the sum of ten dollars, to him in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said Asbel G. Fairchild his heirs and assigns the two herein after described parcels of land, both lying in George Township County and State aforesaid: the one of said parcels of land being Bounded as follows Beginning near the western most corner of the said Fairchilds orchard, at a slate in the middle of the road leading from the said Fairchilds to the - ---- ----- ---- where said road ----- line between lands of Bonaparte Harden and the line Ashbels Fairchild: there north thirty six degrees east along the line of said Fairchild seven perches and six tenths to a stake, thence North Sixty degrees, west eight perches and one tenth to a stone: Thence South seventy seven & a half degrees West three perches and one tenth to a stake in the middle of the aforesaid road. Thence South twenty nine and a half degrees East along the middle of said road ten perches and nine tenths to the beginning. Containing forty perches of land more or less; The other of the aforesaid parcel of land being bound as follows: Beginning near the suthwest corner of said Bonaparte Hardens orchard, at a stake in the middle of the road leading from Ashbel G. Faichildsto the valley schooll ----- , where the said road the third time crosses the line between said Harden and said fairchild, thence north thirteen and a helf degrees West fourteen perches to a stone in the corner of land belonging to the heirs of Thomas Brownfield dec'd. Thence South seven degrees East passing a white oak standing near said road and marked as a line tree, ten perches to a stake in the middle of same road: thence south seventy nine and a half degrees East four perches and one tenth to the beginning Containing eight perches of land more or less. To have and to hold both of the above described perches or lots of land with all their appurtenances right, and priviledges rents issues and profits unto the said Ashbel Fairchild his heirs and assigns, to the only proper use and behoof of him the said Ashbel Bonaparte Harden and Jemima his wife have hereunto affixed their hands and seals on the day and year above written.
