Between David Porter Ritner Little and Sarah his wife of Washington Township, Fayette County of the first part and Samuel Haggerty of the same county of the second part. Witnesseth that the parties of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of eighty dollars lawful money of the United States unto themselves and truly paid by the party of the second part at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have granted, bargained, sold, alieved, ---, released, conveyed and confirmed and by these presents do grant, etc.... to the party of the second part one undivided third part of a certain tract of land situate lying and being in Perry Township. County and State aforesaid containing eleven acres and perches, be they same more or less, adjoining lands of Samuel Haggerty, Harvey Seiper, William Robbins and others, being the same tract of land which Archibald McLaughlin by will bequeathed to his wife Sarah during her lifetime and at her decease to his daughter Nancy, and her heirs in fee forever. The said Sarah being a daughter and heir at law of the said Nancy, and the said parcel of land being her share of the said Nancy's estate - together with all the improvements and ---- appurtenances whatsoever... [The legal release continues in this vein for some time more, and granting the rights to this 11 acres to Samuel Haggerty.] In witness whereof the said parties of the first part to these presents have set their hands and seals.
