Land situate in Springhill Township. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Whereas John Hardin of Springhill Township Fayette County and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania by a Penal Bill of Equal date with there presents stands bowed to George Hardin of the same place in the sum of One hundred & twenty Dollars Real debt with Interest from the date hereby under the usual penalty to be paid unto the said George Hardin his heirs or assigns on or before the first day of January next ensuing. Now Know Ye that for Bothe scaning the payments of the aforesaid sum of one hundred and twenty Dollars with growing Interest thereon that being the real debts The said John Hardin hath granted bargained and sold by these presents doth grant bargain and sell unto the said George Hardin his heirs and assigns the following described part of that purport or Share of the lands of his father John Hardin already laid off the brow granting John Hardin viz. Twelve acres lying joining the Ridge Road from Oliphants Forges to Charles Griffins Orchard joining Cato Hardin & Devall To have and to hold the said twelve acres of land in the manner before described with the appurtenances unto the said George Hardin his heirs and assigns forever provided always that if the said John Hardin his heirs Executors or administrators or Either thereon shall well and truly pay a cause to be paid unto the sd George Hardin his heirs and Executors Administrators assigns the sum of One hundred and twenty dollars on or before the first day of January next ensuing with legal interest for the same from the date hereof And that without Praved delay or abatement by reason of ---- or any other plea of abatement or delay whatsoever that thereon and from thenceforth the before recited Penal Bill or obligation of writing this grant, and ---- thereon -----, and thing that relates thereto: shall cease and forever come Void, Otherwise to remain in full force and Virtue in Law__In Witness whereof the Covenanting parties have hereto set their Hands and Seals the twnety second day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eleven.
