Agreement between Andrew Collins to John Hibben 1812. ARTICLES of Agreement made and entered into the 6th Day May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twelve by and between John Hibben ___ Hatter of Union Town Fayette County in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania of the one part and Andrew Collins of the same place of the other part WITNESSETH that the said Andrew Collins doth sell unto the said John Hibben ___ his heirs or assigns a certain house and lot with the appurtenances thereunto belonging Situate on Morgantown Street adjoining John Collins on the North, John Vankirk on the South Morgan Town Street on the West John Collins of the East - the boundaries whereof are foxed by the way the fences now run including an Alley between Vankirk and said lot. In consideration whereof the said John Hibben is to pay to the said Andrew Collins his heirs or assigns four hundred Dollars payable in the following manner. To wit two hundred Dollars in hand at which time the said Andrew Collins doth oblige and bind himself his heirs or assigns to make execute & deliver to the said John Hibben ___ his heirs or assigns a good clear and sufficient title for the above described lot & appurtenances free from any incumbrances whatsoever future taxes only excepted One hundred dollars in one year from this date, the balance say one hundred dollars in two years from this date he the said John Hibben giving Bond and sufficient security for the payment of the same -- And further it is agreed that the said John Hibben is to have free and __ible possession of the aforesaid premises on or before the first day of August next WITNESETH our hands and seals the day & year first before written. Witness FAYETTE COUNTY PA The 27th day of John Hibben Wm Hibben April 1814 before me subscriber one of the A Collins Thos. Hibben Justices of the peace in and for said County came Thomas Hibben & William Hibben were duly sworn respectively that they saw John Hibben and Andrew Collins sign & seal the foregoing Article of agreement & that they did then and there subscribe their names as witness thereto in their own hand writings respectively.
