Land Indenture Between: ANDREW STEWART and his Wife ELIZABETH  to A.J. HUMBLE.

cut off the end of the transaction. However there is enough of the transaction 
to be helpful in a search for an ancestor. The complete transaction is on file 
at the Uniontown courthouse, Fayette County, Pennsylvania.
 
 
This Indenture Made the 24th day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand 
eight hundred and seventy two (1872) Between ANDREW STEWART AND ELIZABETH HIS 
WIFE  of Uniontown, Fayette County and State of Pennsylvania of the first part 
and A.J. HUMBLE of the county and state aforesaid of the second part, Witness 
that the said parties of the first part for and in consideration of One Thousand 
Dollars lawful money of the United States of America unto them well and truly 
paid by the said party of the second part at or before the sealing and delivery 
of these presents the right where of is hereby acknowledged have granted 
bargained sold released conveyed and confirm unto the said party of the second 
part their heirs and assigns all the following described tract parcel of land 
situate in Henry Clay Township County and State aforesaid and bounded as 
follows: (BEGINNING: Starting at the stone corner on MUD PIKE thence by same and 
land of MICHAEL THOMAS north fifty one degrees east fifty eight perches to 
stones thence by the same North sixty eight degrees East Thirty six Perches to a 
stone thence by the same south eighty five degrees east twenty two perches 
thence by land of MICHAEL THOMAS south eighteen and a half perches to a stone 
thence by by the same south eighty five degrees west forty five perches to a 
stone thence by the same north two degrees west twenty one and a half perches 
thence by the same south eighty six and one half degrees east forty none perches 
to a stone thence by the same north seven and a half degrees east thirteen 
perches to a stake and stones thence by same north fifteen and a half degrees 
west eighteen and one half perches to a White Oak on south side of "MUD PIKE" 
thence by same south sixth degrees west four perches to stones thence by same 
north thirty six degrees west forty eight perches to a stake thence by same 
north sixty one and a half degrees west forty perches to a stone thence by the 
same north forty nine perches to a white Oak thence by same south seventy 
degrees west eighty perches to a small chestnut thence by same south forty five 
degrees west eighty nine and five tenth perches to a chestnut thence by land of 
ELIJAH HUMBLE south seven and a half degrees east ninety perches to the place of 
BEGINNING). Containing One hundred and Eleven and a half Acres, Strict measure 
more or less together with all and singular the improvements ways waters courses 
rights and liberties whatsoever belonging or in anyway belonging.
