Deed Book 235, page 13 Fayette County, PA F. B. Bannister to Hugh C. Mossburg THIS INDENTURE, Made the Twentysixth day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and three. BETWEEN Bannister and Florence B. Bannister his wife, of Monongalia County, State of West Virginia of the first part, and Hugh C. Mossburg of Fayette County State of Pennsylvania of the second part, WITNESSETH, That the said parties of the first part, for and in consideration of the sum of Twenty Dollars lawful money of the United States of America unto them well and truly paid by the party of the second part, at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the reciept whereof is hereby acknowledged, have granted, bargained, sold, aliened, enfeoffed, released, conveyed and confirmed, and by these presents do grant, bargain, sell, alien, enfeoff, release, convey and confirm, unto the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, All that certain lot number 6 in "G" in the Highland Park Addition to the borough of Smithfield, Fayette County and State of Pennsylvania as surveyed and plotted Russell L. Morris C.E. for said F.B. Bannister which plat is of record in the reference is here made, being a part and parcel of a tract of land that was conveyed to F.B. Bannister by deed from A.C. Kiger and wife, bearing date of August 20th 1903. TOGETHER with all and singular the said property improvements, ways, waters, watercourses, rights, liberties, priveleges, hereditaments and appurtenances whatsoever thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining, and the reversions and remainders, rents, issues and profits thereof, and all the estate, right, title, interest, property claim and demand whatsoever, of the said parties of the first part, in law, equity, or otherewise howsoever of, in and to the same and every part thereof, TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the said described lot with the hereditaments and premises hereby granted or mentioned, and intended so to be with the appurtenances, unto the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, to and for the only proper use and behoof of the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, FOREVER. AND the said parties of the first part, for themselves and their heirs, executors and administartors, do by these presents covenant, grant and agree, to and which the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, that they the said parties of the first part and their heirs, all and singular, the hereditaments and premises herein above described and granted, or mentioned, and intended so to be, with the appurtenances, unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns, against them, the said parties of the first part, their heirs and against all and every other person or persons whomsoever, lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof: shall and will warrant and forever defend.
