Husing Carson to Enos Mossburg THIS INDENTURE, Made the First day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand nineteen hundred BETWEEN Husing Carson and Anna Carson his wife of Layton, Fayette Co. Penna of the first part and Enos Mossburg of Perryopolis, County and state aforesaid of the second part, WITNESSETH, That the said party of the first part, for and in consideration of the sum of ($ 60.00) Sixty Dollars lawful money of the United States of America, unto them well and truly paid by the said party of the second part at the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have granted, bargained, sold, aliened, enfeoffed, released, conveyed and confirmed, and by these presents do grant, bargain, sell, alien, enfeoff, release, convey and confirm, unto the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, All that certain part or parcel of land situated and lying in Perry Township, County and state aforesaid, bounded and described as follows, to wit- beginning at the corner John H. Davidsons fence on the public road, leading from Perryopolis to Pittsburg Pa, the distance of 125 feet, thence by the lands of the present grantor 265 feet West to corner of lands of A. Carson, J.H. Davidson and E. Lynn, from thence south east to place of beginning, containing 1/4 of an acre, more or less the same being a part of a tract of land conveyed to John H. Davidson by deed of J.S. Elwell, Administrator of the estate of Adam Hixenbaugh, Deceased. TOGETHER with all and singular the said property improvements, ways, waters, water courses, rights, liberties, privileges, hereditaments and appurtenances whatsoever thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining, and the reversions and remainders, rents, issues and profits thereof, and all the estate, right, title, interest, property, claim and demand whatsoever, of the said party of the first part, in law, equity or otherwise howsoever of, in and to the same and every part thereof, TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the said Piece or parcel of land with the hereditaments and premises hereby granted or mentioned, and intended so to be, with the appurtenances, unto the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, to and for the only proper use and behoof of the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, FOREVER. AND the said parties of the first part, themselves, their heirs, executors and administrators, do by these presents covenant, grant and agree to and with the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, that they, the said parties of the first part, their heirs all and singular, the hereditaments, and premises herein above described and granted, or mentioned, and intended so to be, with the appurtenances, unto said party of the second part, his heirs and asigns, against they the said parties of the first part and their heirs, and against all and every other person or persons whomsoever, lawfully claiming or to claim some or any part thereof. ......shall and will Warrant and Defend.
