THIS INDENTURE, Made the Fifth day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and Eighty Nine BETWEEN Hannah E. Fan and T.J. Fan her husband of Springfield Township Fayette County and state of Pennsylvania of the first part and Sophia Mossburg of the same township, County and State of the second part, WITNESSETH, That the said parties of the first part, for and in consideration of the sum of Ten Dollars lawful money of the United States of America, unto them well and truly paid by the said party of the second part, at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, has granted, bargained, sold, aliened, enfeoffed, released, conveyed and confirmed, and by these presents does grant, bargain, sell, alien, enfeoff, release, convey and confirm, unto the said party of the second part, her heirs and assigns, forever, All that lot piece or parcel of land situated in Springhill township, Fayette County and State of Pennsylvania and Bounded as follows, Viz. beginning at a stone thence by line of Sophia Mossburg's S 24º, E-8 perches to a post, thence by line of John T. Conn? S 63 1/2, W 9.9 perches to post. thnece with private road N 11º E. 5.5 perches to a place of Beginning and containing twenty four perches. The private road through this lot is to be kept open for the use of the aforesaid Sophia Mossburg for all time to come. TOGETHER with all and singular the said minerals, improvements, ways, waters, water courses, rights, liberties, privileges, hereditaments and appurtenances whatsoever thereunto belonging, or in anywise appertaining, and the remainders, rents, issues and profits thereof, and all the estate, right, title, interest, property, claim and demand whatsoever of the said party of the first part, in law, equity or otherwise howsoever of, in and to the same and every part thereof, TO HAVE AND TO HOLD, the said described lot or parcel of land with the hereditaments and premises hereby granted or mentioned, and intended so to be, with the appurtenances, unto the said party of the second part, her heirs and assigns, to and for the only proper use and behoof of the said party of the second part, her heirs and assigns FOREVER. AND , the said parties of the first part, our heirs, executors and administrators, do by these presents covenant, grant and agree to and with the said party of the second part and her heirs and assigns, that We, the said parties of the first part and our heirs, all and singular, the hereditaments and premises herein above described and granted or mentioned and intended so to be, with the appurtenances, unto the said party of the second part, her heirs and assigns, against us, the said party of the first part, and our heirs and against all and every other person or persons whomsoever, lawfully claiming or to claim some or any part, and his heirs shall and will warrant and forever defend.
