And Whereas the said Thomas Reed in and by his last will and Testament dated the Tenth day of May one thousand "seven hundred" and ninety one did devise unto his three sons above Mentioned the same tract of land for which the above mentioned Warrant was afterward Granted. Now know Ye that the said Samuel Reed James Reed and David Reed for and in consideration of the sum of one thousand four hundred and twenty one pounds lawful money of Pennsylvania to them in hand paid by Joseph Leatherman of the same place Yeoman the Receipt whereof is hereby Acknowledged Have granted bargained and sold unto the said Joseph Leatherman all the estate Right title and Interest of them the said Samuel James and David of in to or out of the said warrant and tract of Land thereby granted and devised as aforesaid with the Appurtenances: To have and to hold the same unto the said Joseph Leatherman his heirs Executors administrators and Assigns forever Subject Nevertheless to the Commonwealths and all other dues and demands to which the same are liable. In Witness whereof they have hereunto set their hands and affixed their seals the twenty sixth day of March Anno Domini one thousand seven hundred and ninety eight, the "word afterward" interlined. In Consideration of a Sum of money to me C—anted to be paid by my sons Samuel Reed James Reed and David Reed & for other good Causes & Considerations ----- to me moving [?] Have Released and quit claimed & by these presents do release and quit claim unto Joseph Leatherman of said Township & County the privileges I was to hold and enjoy in or out of a tract of land situate in George Township - devised to my said sons by the last Will and Testament of the said Thomas Reed.
