One Hundred and Forty-Second Regiment

"This regiment was made up of three companies from Somerset Couynty, and
one from each of the counties of Westmoreland, Mercer, Union, Monroe,
Venango, Luzerne, and Fayette (Company H; this last named being ...
commanded by Captain Joshua M. Dushane, of Connellsville.)  The regimental
rendezvous was at Camp Curtin, Harrisburg, where the companies were
mustered into the service as they arrived during the month of August,
1862."

(Muster In (MI) date is August 19, 1862, unless otherwise noted.  Muster
Out (MO) date with company is May 29, 1865, unless otherwise noted.)
