It was later photocopied and given to me in 2002. It is a transcription of this photocopied original with no corrections to its spelling or punctuation. ALICE GADD Alice Gadd, aged 71 years and 10 months, died at 4:55 Monday afternoon, September 4, 1939, at the residence of a sister, Mrs. James Rose, 8 Conner street, South Uniontown, of a complication of diseases. She was the widow of William Gadd. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Anna M. Langley, New Salem, R. D., and Mrs. James Rose, South Uniontown, and a brother, Albert Norris, Uniontown. Mrs. Earl Barber and her son, William E., had made their home with Mrs. Gadd for a number of years. The body will be removed this evening from the C. B. Dearth & Sons Funeral Home, New Salem, to the Rose residence. Plans for the funeral are incomplete.
