Latrobe Bulletin Tue May 31 1949
Funeral services will be held Thursday at Normalville for Charles K. Brooks,
town supervisor of Mill Run and school teacher for more than a half century.
Brooks, who was 91, died Sunday in Connellsville Hospital after a short illness.
He began public service in 1878 and served until his retirement in 1929. Brooks
is survived by four sons: Harold K., vice president and secretary of the
Pittsburgh Tube Co; Clarence W., of Mill Run; Dr. Omer V., of Northfield, W.
Va.; and Lane Brooks, of Washington, D. C.
