OLIVE BYERS Olive Byers, 339 Braddock avenue, died at 9:50 o'clock Wednesday morning at her home. She was a native of Fayette county, the daughter of the late Robert and Caroline Byers in Franklin township. Since 1917 she had been a resident of Uniontown. During her active life she was well known as a teacher in the public schools of Franklin township, and her death will be mourned by many friends. She was a member of the Second Presbyterian church of Uniontown and Laurette Chapter of Eastern Star, 178. She is survived by the following brothers and sisters: I. L. Byers, Perryopolis; Freeman and T. B. Byers, both of New Salem; Mrs. D. S. Snyder, McCellandtown; Grover F. Byers, Uniontown; Alva L. and Jerome S., both of Morgantown, W. Va.; John H., Margaret E. and Jesse, all at home. Friends will be received at the family home, 339 Braddock avenue, until 11 o'clock Saturday morning when the body will be removed to the Second Presbyterian church, to lie in state until the hour of the services at 2 o'clock. Rev. James C. Clark, pastor of the church, will officiate. Burial will be in Laurel Hill cemetery, under the direction of the Ferguson Funeral Home.
