We encourage links to the state and county table of contents. ______________________________ Obit from Uniontown Morning Herald April 9, 1938 Mary Ann Carlysle Mrs. Mary Ann Carlysle, aged 78, died at 5 o’clock Friday morning, April 8, 1938 at her home in 503 Fifth avenue, Brownsville, after a brief illness. She was the widow of Wilson W. Carlysle and a lifelong resident of Brownsville. Mrs. Carlysle was the daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth Hurst of Brownsville. Surviving are the following children: Mrs. W.K. Thompson, Brownsville; Mrs. Frank Sproull, Springdale; Mrs. Benjamin Gambill, Wellsburg, W. Va.; Frank L of Wilkinsburg; James R of Washington D.C.; 14 grandchildren and four grea-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Ross Funeral Home in Brownsville where funeral services will be conducted at 3 o’clock Sunday afternoon. Reverand Maurice P. McKay, pastor of the Donora St. John’s Episcopal church will be in charge. Burial will follow in Redstone Cemetery.
