CHARLES GADD Charles Gadd, 42, a prominent resident of Sykesville and formerly of Uniontown, died in the DuBois Hospital, Monday, October 21, 1935. Mr. Gadd was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Gadd and for a number of years had been employed as an electrician at the Sykesville plant of the B. & S. Coal Company. He was a member of the Sykesville Baptist church and of the John M. Reed Lodge No. 536, F. & A. M.; the Williamsport Consistory and Jaffa Shrine, Altoona. Surviving Mr. Gadd are: his widow and the following brothers and sisters; Ella, Armeade Gadd; Mrs. M. Killgallon of Sykesville; Mrs. McCurdy Sloppy, of Akron, O.; and Warren Gadd, of Sykesville. Funeral services were solemnized on Wednesday, October 23, with burial in Morningside cemetery. Relatives and friends attending the services from this district were: his aunt Mrs. Isaac Hughes, McCellandtown road; Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Hughes and children, J. C. and Ruth; and Palmer Walls and son, Glenn, of Scottdale.
