She was born May 9, 1907, in Jefferson, Pa., Greene County. Anna moved with her parents and sister to East Riverside, Fayette County, at the age of 2. She spent most of her lifetime in Fayette County. Anna resided with her daugher and son-in-law, Lynda and Dale Jones, until she became a resident of Presbyterian Senior Care in Washington, Pa., following a stroke in 1992. Anna was a member of Fort Burd United Presbyterian Church, Brownsville, and hopewell and Franklin Grange. She worked at Isabelle Company Store, Central Elementary School Cafeteria as a cook, and at the Uniontown Hospital Gift Shop. Anna was blessed with the ability to enjoy life and share her love of God with everyone. Her favorite things were visiting with her family and friends and reading her Bible. Preceding her in death were her parents, John Winfield and Elsie Nixon King; her first husband of 33 years, William James Gadd; her second husband of 17 years, Ernest R. Christopher; a sister, Edith King Goss; a brother, James W. King; a stepdaugher, Suzanne King; and stepson, Dennis Christopher. Left to cherish her memory is a daughter Lynda Gadd Jones and her husband, Dale of Uniontown; a grandson Kevin D. Jones and his wife, Mary Ellen of Uniontonw; great-grandchildren, Emily and Quinn Jones of Uniontown; a stepson, Lewis Christopher and his wife, Ruby of Uniontown; a step-grandson, Gary Christopher and his wife, Linda of Uniontown, and their daughers, Carrie Fascetti and husbandk, Matthew and Lisa; and a step-granddaughter, Debi Christopher Bailey and her husband, Bob of Springboro, Ohio, and their son, Travis; a step son-in-law, Lawrence King of Smock, and children, Connie Frankenberry and her husband, Rob and daughter, Faran of Crownsville, Md., Mark King and his wife, Judy of Maple Shade, N.J., and their dhildren, Chasity and Brandon, Lawrence King Jr., and his wife, Regiena of Pensacola, Fla., and Thomas King and his wife, Jacqueline of Oaksdale, Pa., and their sons, Christopher, William, Tyler and Trevor. The family will receive friends in the Dearth Funeral home, New Salem, on Thursday, Aug. 26, 200r, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. , and on Friday, Aug. 27, 200r, until 11 a.m., the hour of service, with the Rev.
