CURSTEAD, NELLIE (PATTERSON)--Age 84, a resident of Brownfield, died in the
Uniontown Hospital on Sunday, May 12, 1974 at 3:30 a.m.  She was a daughter of
the late W.W. and Matilda Williams Patterson.  Surviving are three daughters,
Mrs. Wilson (Thelma) Snyder of Maumee, Ohio, Mrs. Keith (Nell Louise) Allen of
Fort Myer, Florida, and Mrs. Bruce (Patti) Sterling of Rockville, Maryland;
five grandsons; six great grandchildren; one brother, Ralph Patterson of
Brownfield.  Preceding her in death was her husband, Harry, in 1959.  She was
a member of the Brownfield United Methodist Church, Ladies Bible Class, and
was a teacher of the Beaverette Sunday School Class.  She was also a charter
member Laurette Chapter, Order Of Eastern Star, Uniontown.  The family will
receive friends in the James W. Goldsboro Funeral Home, Fairchance, today from
2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., where services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m.
with Rev. Arthur Hummell officiating.  Interment will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery,
Uniontown.  Laurette Chapter 178, OES will hold ritualistic services today at
8 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Brownfield United
Methodist Church.
