DAVIDSON, JOHN H.-Age 70 years, husband of Edna Moore Davidson, formerly of Grindstone and New Salem, died in the Washington, Pa., Hospital, Monday, January 25, 1965 at 11 a.m. He was born December 31, 1894, in Redstone Twp., the son of Amos W. and Hulda Vernon Davidson. He spent his entire life In Fayette County and was a retired employee of the H. C. Frick Coke Co., having been employed at the Colonial 3 Mine. He was a member of the Dunlap Creek Presbyterian Church of Merrittstown, Pa., and the UMWA. In addition to his wife he is survived by the following children; John C. (Jack) of Haddonfield, N.J., Roy C. of Garden City, Mich., Mrs. Thomas (Merle) Ridge, Fredericktown R.D., Mrs. Graham (Ruth) Bleiler, Bozeman, Montana, Mrs. Louis (Sally) Butera, Brookline, Pittsburgh, Mrs. William (Virginia) Canan, Washington, Pa.; two brothers, Archie of Pompano Beach. Fla., Vernon, Luzerne Township; one sister, Mrs. R. S. (Margaret) Noble, Merittstown; eighteen grandchildren and one great grandson. Friends will be received at the Dearth Funeral Home, New Salem, after 7 this evening and until Thursday at 1:30 p.m. the hour of service. with Rev. Daniel W. Little officiating.
