I have changed the format to fit it onto 1 page. DEAL, SCOTT - Age 78 years, of Uniontown R.D. 4, died in the Uniontown Hospital Friday, July 3, 1981. He was born in Preston County, W.Va., Oct. 31, 1902, son of the late Frank and Alice Fisher Deal. He was a member of the Third United Presbyterian Church, Uniontown, John Knox Bible Class, Fayette Lodge No. 228 F&AM, Uniontown Lodge of Perfection, the Pittsburgh Consistory, Syria Shrine and Caravan No. 9 Tall Cedars of Lebanon, member andd former past master of Menallen Grange No. 1091, the Pomona State and National Granges and trustee of the Sandy Hill Union Church and Cemetery. He was a retired employee of the Uniontown Water Co. with 22 years of service. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Grace Barnes Deal; one daughter, Mrs. William (Eleanor) Crago of Stoney Point; one son, Jack E. Deal of Uniontown; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two brothers, Hershey Deal of Uniontown R.D. 6 , and William of Lemont Furnace. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Elsie Sangston. Friends will be received in the Dearth Funeral Home, New Salem, Saturday after 7 p.m., Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday until 11 a.m., the hour of service, with Rev. Karl W. Bowman Jr., his pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in the Sandy Hill Church Cemetery. Menallen Grange No. 1091 will conduct ritualistic services at 7:30 p.m. Saturday. Fayette Lodge No. 228 F&AM will conduct services Sunday at 7:30 p.m. The family requests contributions be made to the American Heart Association.
