MRS. LUCY BELL DERRY
Mrs. Lucy Belle Derry, of Millsboro, died at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 22, 1944 
in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Henry Morgan, Millsboro, after an illness of 
about two months.

Mrs. Derry, a daughter of the late Jacob and Mary Vandergrift Maskill, was born 
March 18, 1866.  She lived most of her life in East Bethlehem Township.  Her 
husband, NATHAN DERRY, died nine years ago.

Surviving are four children:  Earl, of Crucible; Mrs. Howard Hughes, Rices 
Landing; Mrs. Henry Morgan, Millsboro, and Joseph, Millsboro; one sister, Mrs. 
J. V. Amos, Brownsville; 13 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
