Handwritten date on obituary 1929 MARTIN DRABIC Called to the home of Martin Drabic at Newboro, near New Salem, shortly before midnight Wednesday, presumably to prepare the man's body for burial, Deputy Coroner A. W. Kisinger of Brownsville discovered that Drabic had died by his own hand. Mr. Kisinger, after an investigation, reported that the dead man, evidently despondent because of ill health, had drunk the contents of a small bottle of poison. An empty glass and the bottle were found beside the body, the official reported. Drabic, who was 43 years of age, is survived by his widow, Mrs. Emma Drabic, and three children: Margaret, Elmer and Walter Drabic at home, and three brothers, John and Andrew of Cleveland and Michael of Scranton. Funeral services will be held in the home Saturday afternoon at 1 o'clock with the Rev. Harry W. Kilgore officiating. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant cemetery.
