SAMUEL WESLEY EBERT OBIT Samuel Wesley Ebbert of Hunker, Yukon Territory, Canada, a former Fayette countian, died on February 25 at the home of a sister, Mrs. Sue Wolfe, at Columbus, Ohio, according to a letter from Mrs. Ebbert at Hunker, received by the Courier today. Mr. Ebbert was 66 years old. He was born in Pennsylvania and resided in this State the greater part of his life. He taught school at Broad Ford where he married Miss Ida May Leadbeter. They went to Yukon during the gold rush. Mr. Ebbert was in Connellsville on a visit last winter, his health being poor at the time. He is survived by his widow and one son, Roy Orlan Ebbert, who is with the McKinley Placers Company in Alaska, and two sisters in Pennsylvania and one in Ohio. He was a member of the Methodist Church. Burial was made at Columbus.
