This obituary come from an unknown paper. It was cut out and put into a photo album by
its original owner, who gave them to me in 1997. It is a copy of the original with no
corrections to its spelling or punctuation. 

EMERY, CLARA E.  Age 88
years of R.D. 1, Masontown,
Pa., died Monday, February 24,
1975 in the Uniontown Hospital.
She was the daughter of the late
Simon and Anna Marie Meier.
She was born July 25, 1886 in
Pittsburgh, Pa. She was a
member of the Masontown
Jacobs Evangelical Lutheran
Church. Surviving are her husband, Homer N. Emery; two
sons, Francis Emery and
Homer M. Emery Jr. both of
R.D. 1, Masontown; a daughter, Mrs. Thomas E. (Sarah
Jane) Davis of Perry, Ohio; six
grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. Friends will be
received in the Grant R. Townsend Funeral Home, 220 S. Main
St., Masontown this evening
from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral
arrangements are incomplete
and will be announced later.
