This obituary came from an unknown paper. It was cut out and 
put into a scrapbook by its original owner.  It was later 
photocopied and given to me in 2002.
It is a transcription of this photocopied original with no 
corrections to its spelling or punctuation.

ELIJAH O. GADD

    Elijah O. Gadd, aged 68 years, five months and two days, 
of near Lambert, died in the Uniontown Hospital Sunday morning, 
August 21, 1927, at 1 o'clock following an operation.  
He was a son of the late Joseph and Mary Molton Gadd and is 
survived by his wife, Mrs. Sarah J. Moore Gadd; one daughter, 
Mrs. J. M. Moser of McCellandtown, and one son, Kenneth Gadd at home.  
A daughter, Ethel O., and an infant son preceded him in death.  
He is also survived by the following brothers and sister: Edgar E. Gadd, 
Albert O. Gadd and J. Howard Gadd, and one sister, Maud of Pittsburgh.  
Samuel, Malissa and William E. Gadd preceded him in death.  A
grandson, Raymond Moser of McCellandtown, also survives.
    Funeral services will be held in the family home Tuesday 
afternoon at 2 o'clock followed by burial in Moore's cemetery.
