Donald O. Evans

Donald Oris Evans, 39 years old, of East Murphy avenue, died at 3:15 o'clock this
morning in 
Connellsville State Hospital after an illness of several months.  He had been
admitted to that institution 
just yesterday.
  Mr. Evans was well known here and was a conductor for the Baltimore & Ohio
Railroad, working out of 
this city on the Pittsburgh Division.  He was born on November 13, 1897, near
Uniontown.
  In addition to his widow, Mrs. Gladys Hebb Evans, and one daughter, Jean, he is
survived by his 
mother, Mrs. Jesse Whaley of 613 East Murphy avenue.
  The body was removed to the residence by Funeral Director Charles C. Mitchell.  
The service will be held there at 2:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon.  Interment will
be in Hill Grove 
Cemetery.
