Connellsville Courier 
Announces the death of John Leslie Francis aged 87 yrs at his residence 
Jefferson Tp on Dec 21, 1927.  He was a veteran of the Civil War.  He was son 
of Major & Mrs James W. Frances of C'ville Pa where he was born May 16, 1840.  
He served 4 yrs & 3 days in Civil War.  He is survived by 3 sons.
