It was cut out and put into a photo album by its original owner, who gave them to me in 1997. It is a copy of the original with no corrections to its spelling or punctuation. FRANKS, CLARA E., aged 65 years, wife of William J. Franks, died in her home near Messmore Wednesday eve ning, July 5, 1944, at 7:30. In addition to her husband she is survived by the following children: Mrs. Amadee Moore and George E. Franks, of Dearth; Wen dell C., of Messmore; Mrs. Martin Da vis, of Gilmore; Ray, at home; Mrs. David Forsythe, of Dearth; one brother, Charles Coffman, of Mason town, and five grandchildren. Friends will be received in the home of her son, Wendell Franks, of Messmore, after 8:30 this evening where brief services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock and followed by addi tional rites in the Church Hill Pres byterian Church with Rev. David Hunter officiating. Burial in Church Hill cemetery, McClellandtown, under the direction of the Sangston Funeral Home, McClellandtown.
