This obituary come from an unknown paper. It was cut out and put into a photo album by
its original owner, who gave them to me in 1997. It is a copy of the original with no
corrections to its spelling or punctuation. 

ELMORE J. FRANKS
	Elmore J. Franks died at his home,
near High House, Friday Oct. 25, 1929
at 2 a. m. of a stroke of paralysis Mr.
Franks was aged 82 years 7 months
and 21 days. His wife preceded him
in death 11 months, Nov. 22, 1928 Mr.
Franks is survived by the following
children; A. J., of Leckrone; W. J., of
Messmore; E . E., of Newcomer; Mrs.
Anna Martin, of Oliver; Mrs. Jane
Ross of Uniontown, and John and
James at home. One son and two
daughters preceded him in death.
   Funeral services will be held at
the home on, Sunday afternoon at 2
o'clock, following service at St. Ja 
cobs Lutheran church. Interment in
church cemetery.
