It was cut out and put into a photo album by its original owner, who gave them to me in 1997. It is a copy of the original with no corrections to its spelling or punctuation. SARA JANE FRANKS Sara Jane Franks died at her home in German township, Thursday after noon, November 22, 1928, at 3 o'clock of a complication of diseases. Mrs. Franks was 82 years, 3 months, 18 days old. She is survived by her husband, five sons and two daughters. One son and two daughters preceded her in death. Those living are A. J. Franks of Leckrone, W. J. Franks of Messmore, E. E. Franks of Newcomer, Mrs. Anna Martin of Oliver, Mrs. Jane Ross of Uniontown, John and James at home. She also is survived by 22 grandchildren. A service will be held at the home Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock, followed by a service at St. Jacob's Lutheran church and burial In St. Jacob's cemetery. The Rev. David Hunter, pastor of Grace Chapel Presbyterian church, will be in charge.
