It was cut out and put into a photo album by its original owner, who gave them to me in 1997. It is a copy of the original with no corrections to its spelling or punctuation. I have changed the format to fit it onto 1 page. FRANKS, WILLIAM J., age 71 years and one month, died at his home near McClellandtown Saturday morning, June 22, 1946, at 1:25 o'clock. Mr. Franks was a lifelong resident of German Township and was a member of the Grace Chapel Presbyterian church, High House. His wife, Clara Coffman Franks, preceded him in death July 5, 1944. He is survived by the following children: Mrs. Amadee Moore, George and Mrs. David Forsythe, all of Uniontown; Wendell of Messmore, Mrs. Martin Davis of Leckrone and Ray, at home. Also surviving are the following brothers and sisters: A. J. Franks of Leckrone, Elmer of Newcomer, Pa., Mrs. William Martin and Mrs. I. W. Ross of Uniontown, and six grandchildren. Brief services will be held in the home of his son, Wendell Franks, Messmore, Tuesday, June 25, at 2 p. m., and followed by additional services in Church Hill Presbyterian Church, McClellandtown, with Rev. David Hunter officiating. Interment in the church cemetery, under the direction of the Sangston Funeral Home. McClellandtown, Pallbearers: A. A.
