This obituary came from an unknown paper. It was cut out 
and put into a scrapbook by its original owner.  It was later 
photocopied and given to me in 2002.

THOMAS GILLELAND

    Word has been received by relatives here of the death 
of Thomas Gilleland which occurred Wednesday morning.  
Mr. Gilleland, who has been a resident of Dodge City, Kansas, 
for a number of years, formerly resided in Uniontown.
    He is survived by his widow and four children, all of 
Dodge City; four sisters and two brothers, Mrs. Ella Whetsel, 
Mrs. Narcissa Dennis, Mrs. Laura Thomas, D. H. Gilleland, Uniontown; 
Albert Albie Gilleland of Brownsville and Miss Sadie Gilleland 
of Long Island, N. Y.
    Funeral services will be held this afternoon in the 
family residence, Dodge City.
