This obituary come from an unknown paper. It was cut 
out and put into a photo album by
its original owner, who gave them to me in 1997. 
It is a copy of the original with no
corrections to its spelling or punctuation. 

GOODWIN, MRS. KATIE V., aged
64 years, died July 4,1943 at 10:25
a. m. in the home, of her daughter,
Mrs. Nevin Pry, Republic. She was
the daughter of the late William
and Susan Moore of Fairchance.
She is survived by her husband
Norval B. Goodwin of Fairchance,
three daughters, Mrs. Nevin Fry,
Republic, Pauline and Mrs.
Blanche Kissinger both of Fairchance, 
one half sister Mrs. Elizabeth Provence 
of Salem, Ohio, one
half brother Dal Moore of Monongahela,
 Pa., four grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the
Sharp Funeral Home, Fairchance,
until Wednesday noon. The body
will be removed to the Presbyterian 
Church at 1 o'clock where
services will be conducted at 2
o'clock with Rev. Dewey Smitley
officiating. Interment in Fairchance 
Cemetery.
