   George N. (Tobe) Gray, 69, of Melcroft was dead on arrival Wednesday at
Connellsville General Hospital.  He suffered a heart attack at his home.
   He was born Aug. 16, 1892 at Williamsport, MD, a son of the late Edward and
Ida Harsh Gray.  He was a retired coal miner of Eastern Gas & Fuel Associates,
and a member of Melcroft Local U.M.W.A.
    He is survived by his widow, Maude Berkebile Gray; two stepsons, Harold
Baldwin and Raymond Barr; a daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Armentrout; 10
grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Mary Boyer of Kantner.
    Friends received at Brooks Funeral Home, Indian Head. A prayer service will
be held at the funeral home on Sunday.  Additional rites held at Kantner E.U.B.
Church at 3 p.m.  Interment at Otterbein Cemetery.
