CLARENCE GRIMM. Clarence Grimm, 51 years old of Scottdale, R.D. died in Connellsville State Hospital last midnight after an illness of about three years. He was admitted April 27. Born in Springfield township near Normalville, May 31, 1900, he was a son of the late James and Mary Eicher Grimm. He had lived in (article missing) about seven years and his last home for nine. Previous to that he had lived in the vicinity of his birth. Deceased was a coal miner by occupation employed by the former H.C. Frick Coke Company until ill health forced his retirement three years ago. Mr. Grimm is survived by his widow, Mrs. Hazel May Gallentine Grimm, eight sons, Lloyd of Salida, Colo, John, with the Army at Fort Jackson, S.C. and Ivan, Clyde, Robert, Theodore, David and Frank, all at home; three daughters, Agnes, Thelma, and Margaret at home; two grandchildren and two brothers, Homer of Uniontown and John of Remington, VA. The funeral will be held (cannot read) afternoon with a prayer at the home at 1:30 o’clock and additional rites at 2:30 o’clock in the Normalville E.U.B. Church. Burial will be made in Normalville Cemetery in charge of Brooks funeral service. (note in ink looks like died May 6, 1952)
