It was cut out and put into a photo album by its original owner, who gave them to me in 1997. It is a copy of the original with no corrections to its spelling or punctuation. I have changed the format to fit it onto 1 page. Mr. Guseman Funeral Set Wednesday Funeral services will be held Wednesday for Arthur P. Guseman, 68, of Farmington, well known Uniontown area school director, who died yesterday in his home of an apparent heart attack. Friends will be received in the Ferguson Funeral Home from 7 to 9 tonight, from 5 to 9 p.m. tomorrow, and until Wednesday at 11 a.m. when services will be held with his pastor, Rev. Thomas R. Thomas, officiating. Burial will be in LaFayette Memorial Park. The family requests that contributions be made of a favorite charity in lieu of flowers. A school board member for some 20 years, Mr. Guseman was a member of the Uniontown Area School Board, Fayette County Vocational Technical School Board, and the Intermediate Unit I (Fayette Greene Washington) School Board. Owner of the Uniontown Hardware and Supply Co., he was a member of Laurel Lodge No. 651, F&AM, Uniontown Lodge of Perfection, Pittsburgh Consistory, Syria Temple of Pittsburgh, Caravan No. 9, Fayco Forest. 152, and Tall Cedars of Lebanon. He was a member of the Asbury United Methodist Church in Uniontown. Mr. Guseman was born Jan. 24, 1906, in Smithfield, a son of the late George and Louvarah (Nace) Guseman. He is survived by his wife, Fay Moore Guseman; two sons, Phillip in Uniontown and John M., in Caracas, Venezuela; two grandchildren, and a sister. Mrs. Gilbert (Evelyn) Heeter, in Messmore.
