We encourage links to the state and county table of contents. ____________________________________________________________ Obit for David Gilbert Guthrie David Gilbert Guthrie, aged 75 years, six months and 25 days, a wide-known H.C. Frick pensioner of the Fairchance District, died at 9:20 o'clock Wednesday morning, March 25, 1936, in the home of a son, Urbin A. Guthrie, of Fairchance. His wife preceded him in death April 26, 1935. Surviving are the following children: Urbin A; Mrs. Howard Grimm, Phoenix, Ariz.; Mrs. Grover Dils, Republic; Mrs. John Blosser, Smithfield ?D; Mrs. James Bailey, Fairchance; Grover C. Guthrie, Waltham, Mass.; Mrs. Daniel Seaman, Isabelle; Norman, Paul, and Mrs. Charles Norman (sic) Cole, all residents of Akron, O.; and George Cecil Guthrie, Boston. Two brothers, Albert and Frank Guthrie, of Fairchance; 32 grandchildren and five great grandchildren also survive. Mr. Guthrie was a member of the Fairchance Free Methodist Church. Following brief services in the Urbin Guthrie residence at 1:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon, additional rites will be solemnized in the Free Methodist church in charge of Rev. ? Spear. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery.
